Rental accommodation in Umbria, Tuscany, Italy for holiday rentals Siliano Alto Midway between Florence and Rome, apartments to rent with stunning views of Tuscany and Umbria from every room. These lovely rental apartments are part of a splendid Casa Padronale situated in the heart of a magnificent 1,500 acre hunting estate on the very border of Tuscany and Umbria. Both our apartments are beautifully restored and decorated, but the real draw here is the landscape; mountains, valleys and distant hill-towns all constantly changing; sometimes pale and opalescent, wreathed in mist and sometimes glowing rosy in the golden light of sunset. The air is good. You can almost feel the high, green Umbrian forests breathe. Set on its own hill, like a protected island, the Estate is only a 10 minute easy drive from the A1 motorway, offering you a chance to make the most of the surrounding area and the magical cities of Rome, Florence and Siena, all about an hour's drive away. More about the estate (internal link) The estate, called
'Le Coste' (meaning the border) is a hillside paradise for nature and
peace. It offers a rare opportunity to explore a stunning wooded and pastoral
landscape, home to a wide variety of birds and animals including deer,
porcupine and the occasional wild boar. White roads and tracks criss-cross
this ancient estate giving you the chance to walk or cycle and breath
the air of a natural reserve, surrounded by beautiful hundred-year-old
pines, cypress trees and extraordinary views across the valleys of Tuscany
and Umbria.
